Domains of Wonder
The celestial nymph Rambha was generated before the creation of the world during the churning of the primeval Ocean of Milk. She became enamored of a sage and visited him where he sat in meditation. Despite her seductive dances and pleadings, the sage remained chaste and launched into a speech on the futility of pleasures of the flesh. The text is written on the reverse sides in gold on vermillion or aubergine grounds.
