19th-20th century Moku-hanga Sculptor
Japanese, (1869–1927)
Studied with Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (Taiso Yoshitoshi) whom his mother married and whose name he took. Later studied with Matsumoto Fuko and Ogata Gekko. Four sets of no drama prints published by Matsuki Heikichi 1898-1934
His stepfather was interested in Noh theater, which inspired him to make prints of Noh actors. Made some Russo-Japanese war prints.
