Japanese, (1838–1912) Chikanobu, Ikkakusai Kunitsuru II, Yoshu
Became minor member of shogun's government. After Meiji Restoration studied under Toyohara Kunichika and took his surname. Specialized in newspaper illustrations and woodblook prints of historical subjects and women and children. Still active after 1900.
