Label Copy

Korans were decorated solely with floral or geometric motifs, such as the “peacock-eye” medallion, which references a beam of the sun and the light of Allah. In this ornate calligraphic script, the title “Chapter of the Gold Adrnoments” is followed by an invocation to Allah.
