This Knife Thrower comes from Yoshitoshi's series of warrior prints. The bold contours, flying garment behind the warrior's body, bulging eyes, and tightly gripped sword enhance the action and movement of this figure. The exaggeration of toes, feet, and muscle tone defines the warrior's masculinity.
