Life and Legacy 2019:

A novel form of recreation in the 1940s, drinking beer while lazily floating this two-mile stretch of the Apple River in Somerset, Wisconsin, is still actively enjoyed by partiers today. The girl in the foreground is still wearing her shoes, probably to protect her feet from the broken bottles that litter the riverbed.
