Alfred Eisenstaedt: Life and Legacy 2019

In order to reduce the consumption of materials critical for war efforts, the architect Wallace Neff experimented with low-cost, quickly assembled hemispherical “bubble houses.” After the foundation was set, concrete was sprayed over a large balloon to form a dome.
