Basically simple, geometric shapes, discs, spheres, cubes, cylinders are used by Pomodoro in shiny bronze or stainless steel with a gash or split or bursting open like a seed pot. Pomodoro does not view the smooth exterior with the roughness of the exposed portion as opposites but as a dialectical link to each other. In "Rotating Sphere," the viewer has the feeling of looking into hidden, unfolding, unknown space.
