Stonepaste, blue underglaze, and overglaze luster decoration
Luster decoration could also be varied with the addition of colored glazes, and blue is a common choice in Kashan lusterware. The ducks may have been borrowed from Chinese pottery that was popular in Iran and imported in great numbers.
